Math AA HL Grade 11

Six live sessions over the Christmas break to prepare for the mock exams after the holidays. Topics follow the Grade 11 AA HL content taught this term and are adjusted to the topics in each student's school mock.

Session Focus

Session 1 — Monday, 21 December · 16:00–18:00

Functions Toolkit and Diagnostic

Domain and range, composite and inverse functions, and transformations of graphs, with a short diagnostic so the remaining sessions target each student's gaps.

Session 2 — Tuesday, 22 December · 16:00–18:00

Polynomials and Rational Functions

Factor and remainder theorems, sum and product of roots, polynomial inequalities, rational functions and their asymptotes.

Session 3 — Wednesday, 23 December · 16:00–18:00

Modulus, Reciprocal and Square Functions

Graphs of |f(x)|, f(|x|), 1/f(x) and [f(x)]², and solving equations and inequalities with and without the GDC.

Session 4 — Monday, 28 December · 16:00–18:00

Exponentials and Logarithms · Paper 1 Focus

Laws of exponents and logarithms, change of base, and exponential and logarithmic equations, with non-calculator exam technique.

Session 5 — Tuesday, 29 December · 16:00–18:00

Sequences, Series and the Binomial Theorem · Paper 2 Focus

Arithmetic and geometric sequences and series, sum to infinity and binomial expansion, with GDC exam technique. A timed mock paper is set after this session and marked by the teacher.

Session 6 — Wednesday, 30 December · 16:00–18:00

Mock Paper Debrief

The marked mock paper returned with personal feedback, the most-missed questions solved step by step, examiner tips and a revision plan for the final days before the mock.
