Infinite geometric sequences, limits, L’Hôpital’s rule, first-order differential equations, homogeneous differential equations and separable differential equations.


Session 2 — Thursday, 27 August · 12:00–14:00

Mathematical Proof and Induction

Mathematical induction, direct proof and proof by contradiction.


Session 3 — Saturday, 29 August · 12:00–14:00

Complex Numbers and De Moivre’s Theorem

The complex plane, polynomials over the complex numbers, De Moivre’s theorem and finding complex

roots.


Session 4 — Tuesday, 1 September · 12:00–14:00

Vector Representations and Products

Algebraic and geometric vector representations, vector equations in two dimensions, the scalar product and the cross product.


Session 5 — Thursday, 3 September · 12:00–14:00

Lines, Planes and Intersections

Equations of planes, intersections between lines and intersections between planes.


Session 6 — Saturday, 5 September · 12:00–14:00

Distances and Angles in Three Dimensions

Distances between a line and a plane, distances between two planes and angles between two planes.
